Cyst on left ovary?
I have a 7cm cyst on left ovary,it was found 1 month ago when i could feel a lump, at ovulation time i was in that much pain i ended up going to the hospital. the doc said its just a functional cyst and should go down, i dont think it has, doc also said to have another ultrasound on 30/4, if its still there will i need to have it removed?

edited to add - i should also say that my period came 2 weeks early lasted about 5 days and was quite heavy, would they be linked?

if the cyst does not go down and the pain is intolerable they may take it out. Do not panic, it is not a terrible surgery. My sisters and I have all had them removed. The recovery time is not bad and the scaring is small. good luck hope you feel better.
Reply:i dnt think you will have to have it removed prob surgry to help or just meds i guess it depends
