Cyst on my wrist?

I have a ganglion cyst on my wrist. Today I fell on it and i think i popped it or burst it or something. Its hurts sooooo much! My arm also feels a little numb when i try to bend my wrist. What should I do? Will it be okay that i burst the cyst and once the pain subsides should i be better off or idk im confused!!

I had a ganglion cyst once. I had to get it removed because it hurt so much. I would recommend that you call your doctor and at least let him/her know that you injured it recently. He might want to have you come in especially if you are feeling numbness. It's better to have it checked out just to be safe. Feel better soon!
Reply:google "bible bump"..they use to whack them w a bible in the old days...use ice 3xday,then moist heat x2days..take advil per label..it should get better see a dr if it doesnt.

Reply:You will go fine now that you have popped the cyst. Most of the time you have it injected or surgically removed. You will have some initial pain but it should subside. Be aware that they do recur. Think of the money you saved. Years ago they slammed a Bible into it since it was the largest book in the house......

Reply:i have a cyst too... but its solid. if yours is too, you probably broke it and need surgery. otherwise just take tylenol and wait
