ok, I am a 22 y/o female. I just found out that I will need surgery for a thyroglossal duct cyst. I am interested in any information about recovery from the preocedure. If anyone has has the sistrunk preocedure done, please let me know how it was for you. I am anxious to find out. Thanks in advance.

depending on the site and size of the cyst , the operation as well as post-operative recovry is usually uneventful. so there is no need to worry.
