Cyst behind bladder...need answers?

After having a ct scan and ultrasound they have found a golfball size cyst behind my bladder. What causes this and how will they remove it? Can they do it vaginally opposed to opening me up? Or will they drain it? Report says that it is benign.

Cysts are nothing to worry about if they're benign... they're usually caused by normal hormonal changes in your body that cause certain areas to swell with fluid. Sometimes the fluid gets trapped and then you have a cyst. Depending on how deep it is they can drain it with a long needle- if it's not painful or large and isn't bothersome to you, they may not remove it at all.
