Ruptured ovarian cyst and children??

I was at work today and a had a sudden intense pain in my lower abdomen area and started to sweat profusely and get light headed. I couldn't even walk. They called an ambulance for me and took me the hospital. The doctor gave me a pelvic exam and ordered a CAT scan. He said a cyst in my ovary had ruptured. He ordered to take 2 days off from work and prescribed me some type of meds. He said it wasn't harmful and cyst are common in women during child bearing years, but I am worried that this will mess up my chances of having children in the future. Has anyone ever been able to have kids after something like this??

Ruptured ovarian cyst and children??
Yes you still can bear children, as long as there is no immdeiate complication of the rupture. Cysts are very common in the ovary, it depends on what type of cyst it is. There is still a great chance of you having a baby especially when it is only one ovary affected. I have polycystic ovary and I was able to give birth two years ago and i am contemplating on having another baby.

Talk to your physician about your case and ask the extent of your disease, he will advice you how to get pregnant still.

good luck.
Reply:My cousin has had them for years and they gave her a lot of pain. But good news, she just gave birth to a healthy baby. So yes you could still have kids.
Reply:I had 2 after mine ruptured...don't worry
