Ovarian cyst question?

Is it possible/normal to get ovarian cysts during your period? I'm on my period right now, and last night I felt a cyst burst and it hurt like a mofo for a really long time. And I'm having cyst pain again right now. So is this normal with cysts? I get a LOT of them.

Ovarian cyst question?
I swear I had one 24/7 and bursting all the time, even went to ER many times cause the pain was way too much. I'm not no doctor but my answer would be yes, cause I recall be admitted for two ovarian cysts, one was bursting and the other was bigger than a golf ball and I had my period too. So Good Luck, hope that helped.. I've now had a hysterectomy just last tues (Dec 17), 31yrs old and no kids... but now no more cysts.
Reply:I know from expediences with women Ive been with that this happens a lot but I think making an Apt. with ObGyn would be appropriate as a precaution.

Good Luck
Reply:First go to your gyno and find out for sure if you actually do have cysts. You don't really sound as if you know, it sounds more like self-diagnosis. If you had a cyst burst you should be looking at an operation. I had a large cyst and my gyno said to have the ovary removed asap as it could burst and I would be in real trouble. So I don't think you just let them burst without doing anything about it.
