Non-cancerous Breat tumor & cyst?

I'm 24 and I have a non-cancerous tumor on my left breast. I've done a biopsy, and I do ultrasounds periodically. I do not have breast cancer in my family history. This tumor isn't really bothering me that much, what's bothering me is that I have a cyst on that breast which continuously opens up a wound, usually when I have my period. The fluid in the cyst is drained from the wound, and the wounnd eventually closes. But everytime near my period, the cyst would begin to fill up and then the wound eventually opens up again. This happens almost every month for the past year and it's driving me crazy.

I'm currently taking birth control pills (this is a long time after I had the cyst problem). I visited a specialist and he suggested that I can get a simple operation to remove the tissues around the cyst area. I've done some researches online and found out that for some women, the cysts keep coming back even after operation. (to be continued)

Non-cancerous Breat tumor %26amp; cyst?
I would recommend getting another opinion, preferably from someone that does not share the same office of the doctor that you currently saw to see what they think is going on.

I would also recommend a consultation with an endocrinologist (a doctor that diagnoses and treats diseases and disorders that relate to hormones) if you haven't already to see what they say to see if maybe a hormone imbalance could be causing some of this.

I also have the link to a site that may help you find more information. The link is at:
