Bartholin Cyst going away on its own?

I was diagnosed with a Bartholin cyst about 13 months ago. Over the past year it has doubled in size and is now the size of a golf ball. I've tried sitz baths and am now scheduled for surgery in 6 weeks. Do you think there is any chance it will go down between now and then? It is not infected just huge and a bit uncomfortable.

Mine never went away on its own. I had to have it lancet. With antibiotics it should feel better in a few days.
Reply:I'd go to the doctor and get it lanced, you'll wish you did it a year ago. Get it done now and it should be gone in 6 weeks if all goes right.
